Private Mode - Privacy Protection Feature
Private Mode is a privacy protection feature of the camera. When enabled, the camera's lens will stop recording and disable live view, as well as pause motion detection, alerts, and all monitoring activities—ensuring complete privacy whenever you need it.
When to Use Private Mode?
- When someone is at home and does not want to be recorded.
- Family gatherings or personal privacy moments.
- When you want to temporarily disable monitoring without unplugging the device.
- Office or store situations where surveillance needs to be paused.
How to Enable or Disable Private Mode?
1Open the "outinput" app
2Enter the Live View or Device Settings page
3Find the option labeled "Private Mode"
4Tap "Private Mode" (ON)
The video feed will be hidden, recording and motion detection will stop.
5Tap "Turn on the camera"
The camera resumes normal monitoring and recording.
What Happens When Private Mode is Enabled?
