ONVIF - How to View the Camera on PC / Laptop

ONVIF profiles make it easy to recognize how ONVIF-conformant devices and clients are compatible with one another. An ONVIF profile has a fixed set of features that must be supported by a conformant device and client.

How to View the Camera on PC / Laptop

1Download and install the ONVIF Device Manager (ODM) tool.

2Enable ONVIF in camera settings.

Open "outinput" app, enter settings interface, find the "ONVIF" and click to enter in. Then enable the function, select "Static IP" and set a password.

3Open ONVIF Device Manager and enter the username & password.

Username: admin
Password: The password you set in “Step 2”

4View live video

Check the Address, make sure it is same with your camera's static IP and then click to connect. Click "Live video", then you can view the monitoring footage.

Troubleshooting Tips - Cannot connect, check the following:

  • Ensure computer and camera are on the same network.
  • Verify ONVIF is enabled in camera settings.
  • Confirm static IP address is correct.
  • Check username is "admin" and password is correct.
  • Disable Windows Firewall temporarily for testing.
  • Restart both camera and ODM application.
