Detection & Alarm
This section explains how the camera detects motion and sends alerts, and how you can adjust the settings to reduce false alarms and improve detection accuracy.
1. Motion Detection
The camera uses motion detection technology to monitor activity within its field of view. When movement is detected, the camera will automatically record a video clip and trigger an alert (if enabled).
💡 Tips
- Ensure motion detection is turned ON in the app.
- Avoid aiming the camera at moving objects such as trees, curtains, or reflective surfaces.
2. Sensitivity Adjustment
You can adjust the motion sensitivity level to control how easily motion is detected.
- High sensitivity: Detects small movements but may increase false alerts.
- Low sensitivity: Reduces false alerts but may miss minor movements.
📊 Recommendation
Start with a medium setting and adjust based on your environment.
3. Alert Push Notifications
When motion is detected, the app can send real-time push notifications to your mobile device.
- Enable or disable notifications at any time.
- Choose which detection types trigger alerts.
🔔 Important
Make sure notification permissions are enabled on your phone system settings.
4. Alarm Timer Settings
Alarm schedules allow you to control when notifications are sent.
- Receive alerts only at night.
- Disable alerts during working hours.
This helps reduce unnecessary notifications while keeping important alerts active.
5. Human Detection
Human detection uses intelligent algorithms to identify human shapes and movements.
✅ Benefits
- Reduces false alerts caused by animals, shadows, or light changes
- Improves accuracy for security-related events
⚠️ Please Note
Detection accuracy may vary depending on lighting, distance, and installation angle.
6. Vehicle Detection
Vehicle detection allows the camera to identify moving vehicles within the monitored area.
This feature is ideal for:
- Driveways
- Garages
- Parking areas
🚗 Optimization Tip
To improve accuracy, avoid aiming the camera directly at busy roads.
7. Close-up Tracking
When close-up tracking is enabled, the camera will automatically follow detected human movement within its viewing range. This feature helps capture clearer details of moving objects or people, but may increase power usage and notifications.
⚙️ Requirements
Both "Motion Detection" and "Human Detection" functions need to be enabled simultaneously for use.
📌 Recommendation
Enable close-up tracking only when needed and adjust sensitivity accordingly.
